Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty is planning to release a solo album, say reports.
The former Libertines frontman has already begun work on the LP, with the first track 'Darksome Sea' already recorded.
According to NME, Doherty has been working alongside producer Jack Fior, who confirmed the rocker's plans.
Fior said: "The recording is intended for Pete's solo project. He has asked me to make that record and I have agreed."
Doherty's album will reportedly include 'Cuckoo 1440', a tune that was first heard on Babyshambles' demos in November 2006.
