Ringo Starr tops Liverpool Culture gig

Ringo Starr has been named as the headliner of a concert celebrating the start of Liverpool's Capital of Culture status.
Starr tops a bill at the Kings Docks Arena, which will also feature The Eurythmics' Dave Stewart and Lightning Seeds singer Ian Broudie.
Other shows confirmed for the event so far include an opera at the Adelphi Hotel.
Phil Redmond, the creator of Grange Hill, Hollyoaks and Brookside is in charge of booking the event.
