Singer Paul Weller has defied the new smoking ban during a gig at London's Astoria.
The former Style Council frontman faces a possible fine after he flaunted the fact he was enjoying a cigarette during a concert.
While lighting up during his set, Weller told fans: "This is the best drug known to man!"
Under new laws which came into place on July 1, Weller could face a £200 fine and Mean Fiddler, the owner of the venue, may be handed a £2,500 punishment.
