Wu-Tang Clan have revealed that they will be the first band in history to be granted the rights to use a Beatles sample.
It was reported in August that the band were covering the Liverpool legends' hit 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps', with George Harrison's son guesting.
However, the rap collective have now announced that they have been given the all clear to sample the track for their record.
Writing on their website, the hip-hop stars said: "Special thanks to Danny Harrison & Erykah Badu for helping bring this song to life!! Also thanks to The Harrison Estate & The Beatles for helping make this possible!!"
The 'Gravel Pit' band added that the release date for their forthcoming album 8 Diagrams has been pushed back until December 4 due to the news.
