The 'Brown Sugar' rockers' tour producer Michael Cohl revealed to Billboard that the band attracted over 4,680,000 people to their Bigger Bang concerts.
The shows, which began in autumn 2005 and finished with a show at London's O2 Arena on August 26, earned the band $558,255,524, claims Cohl.
Talking about the tour, he commented: "It was a long tour, but more than anything it was fantastic.
"We had to overcome a lot; this was like Homer's Odyssey. The accident in Fiji was part of this tour, it's not like it was some previous tour. There were all sorts of difficulties to overcome and it turned out to be just one amazing triumph."
