The 'Valerie' DJ has defended the former Take That star from criticism over his recent Rudebox album, claiming that the singer is someone of whom the nation should be proud.
Ronson told the Mirror: "With Rudebox, he got a lot of flack. But the songs I did on it are some of the ones I'm most proud of."
The Version star also defended Amy Winehouse, another of his musical collaborators.
He commented: "We went for a drink the other night and she seemed really good. I read the papers but when I see her she's just fine."
