Manchester City Council may change a street name to commemorate the late Tony Wilson.
The council has revealed they are looking into the matter as a way of paying tribute to Wilson's efforts in improving the city's culture.
The music mogul will reportedly give his name to Whitworth Street West, which is the home to the now defunct Hacienda nightclub that Wilson used to own.
According to the CMU Daily, Tony Wilson Way, Anthony H Wilson Way and Wilson Street West are some of the names being proposed for the street.
A spokesperson for the council commented: "We need two thirds of people to agree, but I have gone round all the blocks and I am confident people will want to make history on that street."
