Jack Peņate has suggested that his second album may be influenced by the bashment genre.
The singer explained that he has been listening to lots of Jamaican dancehall artists recently, and that the style will probably have an impact on his future recordings.
Talking about his new songs, Peņate told NME: "They're going to be different to the first album. Bashment. Seriously, I love those bashment beats. I want to take that further."
He revealed that the artist Lexxus has been a particular inspiration lately.
The rocker commented: "Lexxus is f***ing sick. There's a song called 'Cook' and it's about how he doesn't like girls who are thin and have long nails, he likes big fat ladies with short nails who can stay home and cook for him.
"I feel the same but I like big nails and short asses."
