Tunstall confused by "squid" comparison

KT Tunstall has admitted that she was confused and insulted when a Japanese interviewer claimed that her performances were "like a squid".
The Scottish singer was being interviewed with an interpreter on hand after performing in Japan, and demanded an explanation for the odd comparison.
"I was a bit upset so I asked what she meant by like a squid," Tunstall told a crowd at a gig in Edinburgh this week.
"It turned out the interviewer thought my gig was like a squid as it was very tasty with lots of different bits. Weird."
