McFly defend musical credentials

Bassist Dougie Poynter responded to the music mogul's recent comments: "What he said really baited me.
"He was saying that we don't plug in and play but that's exactly what we've been doing since day one."
Bandmate Danny Jones added: "It's just childish. We've been playing since we were six and could go up against a lot of the bands these days and give them a run for their money."
McFly were speaking at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards UK ceremony where they won best band.
