Mark Freehily told the Mirror that the boys don't feel bad about his departure or his disappointing solo career
He said: "We don't miss Brian. He was never going to be another Robbie Williams because Robbie is unique."
The boyband have also confirmed that McFadden won't sing with them during their 10th anniversary concert, which they are planning for Dublin's Croke Park in 2008.
Shane Filan said: "We are hopefully going to do a concert in Dublin's Croke Park. It's an 80,000 capacity stadium.
"We haven't confirmed it yet, but we hope to do that next summer which will be our 10th anniversary celebration."
Talking about a possible return for McFadden he commented: "No, Brian isn't in Westlife any more.
"Why would he be joining us? He will be there watching us perform, kicking and screaming inside that he left the band."
