Howard Donald takes onstage chest injury

Howard Donald has missed a Take That gig after suffering a chest injury while on stage.

The band performed Friday's Vienna show with only three members and said their colleague was injured from another concert.

He was taken to an Austrian hospital, but no more details of his condition or the incident itself have been released.

Howard commented: "I've never had to miss a show before. It's unbelievably frustrating being sat in a hospital when I should be on stage with the guys."

Ahead of the show the band put out a statement: "Our friend's health is of the utmost priority and we wish him a speedy recovery. We'll make sure tonight's show is still a fantastic experience for the fans."

The shows are part of Take That's ongoing Beautiful World tour of Europe.
