Led Zeppelin have been forced to postpone their eagerly-awaited reunion concert because guitarist Jimmy Page has fractured one of his fingers.
The concert has been moved from Monday, November 26 to Monday, December 10 because Page was told to not play the guitar for three weeks when he received the injury at the weekend.
Page said in a statement on the band's website: "I am disappointed that we are forced to postpone the concert by two weeks.
"However, Led Zeppelin have always set very high standards for ourselves and and we feel that this postponement will enable my injury to properly heal, and permit us to perform at the level that both the band and our fans have always been accustomed to."
A specialist treating the musician said: "I have examined the fracture to Mr Page's finger, and it is my opinion that with proper rest and treatment, he will be ready to resume rehearsing in three weeks' time, and thus able to perform on December 10."
Led Zeppelin announced the one-off concert in September. The event, which will be their first performance together in 19 years, is a tribute to the late Ahmet Ertegun, who signed the group in 1968.
