Avril Lavigne plans "girly" tour

Avril Lavigne has claimed that she is looking forward to being more "girly" on her forthcoming world tour.

The singer is reportedly keen to ditch her tomboy image and enjoy her time away from her husband Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley.

She is quoted by Female First as saying: "I'm going to have my own specially designed bus that's going to be just for me, and it's going to be a lot more girly!"

Talking about her plans for the tour, she said: "I'm really excited for 'The Best Damn Tour'. I have more singles to play, which can be the most exciting part of the show.

"I can't wait to get back out on the road! I have the most fun when I am performing for the fans. I think that energy comes through in my live show."
