The film, entitled Inside The Smiths, will feature interviews with band members Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce.
According to NME, the pair will discuss their relationships with Johnny Marr and Morrissey.
Other stars offering commentary on the indie legends will be Peter Hook, The Fall's' Mark E Smith and Kaiser Chiefs.
