The rapper revealed his love for indie music during a newspaper interview and praised the group for changing the way fans can buy their music.
He told the Guardian: "What Radiohead did with their album was a genius idea. I’m gonna pay $50 for it."
Jay-Z also revealed that has spent a lot of time listening to The Arcade Fire's new LP Neon Bible.
He admitted during the interview that he knew he would soon lose his 'edge', but claimed he didn't care, saying: "Of course you’re gonna lose your edge… I’m not even worried about that, because you’ll always have truth. Edge is a high-wire act. It’s ignorance. When you have knowledge you see the playing field differently."
