My Bloody Valentine have announced that they will be performing their first live dates in 16 years next summer.
The indie group have not played a gig together since 1992 and have not released an album since their 1991 hit Loveless.
The band denied that they would be reforming earlier this year, but they have now revealed they will play three dates in London, Manchester and Glasgow in 2008, with tickets going on sale this Friday.
Last week reports claimed that they are also planning to release a new album by the end of the year.
