The singer was unable to perform with the group on the tour after he was injured while practising a dance routine.
Donald joined his three other bandmates on the first night of their UK tour in Birmingham, according to The Sun, and informed the crowd: "I am so happy to be back in the UK. I am going to take part in some dancing. The doctor said it would be okay."
During the show Mark Owen also told the fans: "At 6am this morning I was changing my baby's nappy, now I'm performing in front of 40,000 people. It's good to be home."
Take That will perform for four more nights in Birmingham, then they will move on to Glasgow.
