Timberlake, Prince win tour awards

Justin Timberlake and Prince have been given awards for their recent world tours by US magazine Billboard.

'SexyBack' singer Timberlake received an accolade for the best Breakthrough Artist for his FutureSexLoveShow tour. Meanwhile, Prince got the top Boxscore award from his 21 sold-out shows at the O2 Arena in London earlier this year.

The annual New York event was also a success for newly-reformed The Police, who were branded the performers with the top grossing tour as well as with the top ticket-selling tour.

Madonna's new representatives, Live Nation were named the Best Promoter, while their Download Festival was given the Top Festival gong.
