Alanis Morissette has been informed that she will be inducted into the Canadian music industry's Hall of Fame next year.
The singer will be honoured during Canadian Music Week in Toronto in March 2008 as part of the Canadian Radio Music Awards.
Morissette will join the likes of bands such as Triumph and Rush, music producer David Foster and singer Gordon Lightfoot, who have all been added to the Hall of Fame in previous years.
