Winehouse cancels all 2007 tour dates

After receiving advice from her doctor, the Brit award-winning singer cancelled the eight remaining dates on her UK tour, including a scheduled appearance at the Bournemouth International Centre tonight (November 27).
Earlier this week Janis Winehouse, the singer's mother, admitted she would advise her daughter to cancel tour dates if she "feared she was in danger".
A statement on the singer's official website blamed "the rigours involved in touring" and "the emotional strain that Amy has under in recent weeks" for the decision.
"In the interests of her health and well-being, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues," the statement continued.
Meanwhile, Winehouse claimed that her ability to perform has been affected by her enforced separation from Blake Fielder-Civil, her husband of six months. Fielder-Civil is currently in custody at London's Pentonville prison, facing charges of perverting the course of justice.
"I can't give it my all onstage without my Blake. I'm so sorry but I don't want to do the shows half-heartedly," she said. "I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it's just not the same."
Refunds for all dates will be available from the point of purchase.
