Kaiser Chiefs have been named as the headline act for the opening night of the Isle of Wight Festival.
It will be the band's first major UK festival headline slot.
The group told DS earlier this year that they would only want to headline a festival when they had a big catalogue to draw from, criticising acts who topped bills after just two albums.
The famous festival, which was revived in 2002, will take place on June 13-15 at its regular venue of Seaclose Park, Newport.
The Leeds rockers are joining the Sex Pistols, who top the bill on Saturday, and The Police, who close the event on Sunday.
Last year's festival was headlined by Snow Patrol, Muse and the Rolling Stones.
Tickets go on sale at 9am, December 10.
