Led Zeppelin's back catalogue has increased 500% in sales following their reunion concert at the 02 Arena.

HMV has claimed that the band's new best of album Mothership rose in sales by 50% after Monday night's show, and was the biggest-selling album in the UK on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the music retailer told NME: "This demonstrates the enduring appeal of Led Zeppelin as the definitive rock band.

"Their music is now connecting with a whole new generation of fans, who are discovering its brilliance for the first time."
