Jackson to perform 02 residency
Published Friday, Dec 14 2007, 10:33 GMT | By Alex Fletcher

According to the Daily Star, the veteran pop singer is planning to follow in Prince's footsteps and announce a string of dates at the former Millennium Dome.
A source commented: "The general consensus is that Jacko has the fan base to attract enough gig-goers from all over the world to make this a huge success.
"Booking the O2 up for more than a couple of nights might seem like a big gamble on his and his promoters’ part, but just think of the history. People will flock to witness Jacko cover his back catalogue."
It was reported yesterday that Jackson was plotting a three-month comeback tour for 2008 to pay off his mounting debts.
