Gary Barlow told The Big Issue that a reunion would not take place, saying: "I think, when it comes down to it, he's just not going to be in the band again. I just don't think there's a place for him now here."
Talking about their decision to reform, Mark Owen said: "We asked [Robbie], but he had other commitments - he had to walk his dog that day."
Williams' mum recently said she thinks her son will end up rejoining Take That in the future.
Earlier this year, the singer was spotted with Owen and Barlow in LA, sparking rumours that he was planning to reunite with the band during their tour.
Take That recently insisted that the door was "always open" for Williams when questioned about a possible reunion.
