The X Factor warbler shifted more than 228,000 copies of the disc in the last seven days - a week-on-week rise of more than 25% - to take its sales total to 1.14 million. Amy Winehouse's Back To Black looks set to retain its title as the number one seller of the year, however, with around 1.7 million copies shifted.
Westlife hold strong at number two while Michael Bublé rises from 21 to third with over 100,000 sales of Call Me Irresponsible following his X Factor appearance last weekend.
