The Sheffield rockers made the surprise announcement on Saturday, with fans only being able to get tickets for the gig from Sheffield City Box Office and the Manchester G-Mex Box Office.
No tickets were sold on the phone or internet.
Tonight's show will be captured by Warp Films so it can be released on DVD in 2008.
