Blunt blames weather for sad songs

The singer jetted off to the island to write material for All The Lost Souls, but he was surprised by just how low temperatures were in the winter months.
"You need a bit of quiet so I went to Ibiza for three months in the winter with my piano and guitar," Blunt explained during an appearance on The Paul O'Grady Show.
"I wrote some more miserable songs. It was freezing. Some Spaniard stole my boiler. I was sitting there in a hat, coat and fingerless gloves. If the songs sound sad, you can understand why."
