Turner wants to learn to cook in 2008

Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner has said that he wants to learn how to cook in 2008.

Speaking about the band's new year's resolutions, Turner revealed he would like to become more accomplished in the kitchen.

He told NME: "I want to learn how to cook food. I want to do a good curry."

Bassist Nick O'Malley and drummer Matt Helders claimed that they wanted to do more physical activities in 2008.

O'Malley said: "I want to get to a level of fitness synonymous with that of a boxer - just so I don’t get out of breath walking up the stairs."

Helders claimed he wanted to learn how to "do a back somersault and a front somersault".
