Milburn quash split talk
Published Thursday, Jan 10 2008, 16:31 GMT | By Alex Fletcher

The band's non-appearance at a New Year's show in Sheffield had fueled speculation that they were about to go their separate ways.
Milburn's second LP These Are The Facts failed to break into the top 40, while their last single 'What Will You Do (When The Money Goes)' peaked at number 44.
However, a spokesperson for the band has confirmed that the group are currently working on a follow-up album.
"They haven’t split," the spokesperson told NME. "They are continuing writing and looking forward to touring throughout the year. Stay posted!"
Fans on Milburn's official forums had suggested that lead singer Joe Carnall was off to Oxford University and that the band were "disenchanted with music".
