Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) has revealed plans to mark the 30th anniversary of Rock Against Racism in April.
The 1978 event, which was held in collaboration with the Anti-Nazi League, featured a concert from The Clash and 100,000 protesters on the streets of London.
LMHR's celebration will include two stages of music, including acts from all musical genres.
A spokesperson for the campaign told Gigwise: "We want to commemorate the original RAR/ANL carnival of thirty years ago, which is seen as an iconic occasion that symbolised a great movement against racism and fascism.
"A movement in which music played an important part, and an event which politicised thousands of people. We want to send out the biggest possible anti-racist/anti-fascist message.
"We're going to have some nice surprises and collaborations. And we'll have some of the acts from the original carnival representing on the day too."
