The Foo Fighters will also take to the stage at the prestigious awards ceremony, which takes place in Los Angeles on February 10.
The announcement has given a major boost to the event, after Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi and 50 Cent reportedly agreed to boycott it in support of the WGA.
WGA members have been on strike since November in a bid to secure more favourable new media royalties.
This year's Golden Globes ceremony was cancelled after many nominees said they were unwilling to cross the WGA's picket line in order to attend.
