Originally fans wishing to attend the annual summer bash were to supposed to register by the end of February.
Festival boss Michael Eavis has now prolonged the period until March 14.
Only people who have registered will be allowed to apply for tickets when they go on sale at 9am, April 6.
This year's event takes place on June 27-29.
Kanye West, The Verve, British Sea Power and Solomon Burke are all rumoured to be appearing at the festival.
