The band has been nominated for two gongs at next month's ceremony and will join Mark Ronson, Kaiser Chiefs and Kylie Minogue in performing at the event.
Talking to Radio One about their performance, the band said: "We're doing something absolutely massive, something ridiculous.
"It's a large collaboration, something really big. It's the most surreal collaboration. The plan is in place."
The Brit Awards 2008 takes place at Earl's Court on February 20.
