Noel Gallagher has used Wheeler End Studio on several occasions and has worked with The Coral and Ian Brown in the Buckinghamshire centre.
The property is owned by Suzanne Lee, the wife of blues star Alvin Lee, and has been priced at £3.9 million.
Lee is quoted by NME as saying: "After 27 years of running the studio, I am incredibly attached to Wheeler End, so selling it hasn’t been the easiest of decisions to make.
"But the time has come to move on. What I want more than anything else is to see it sold to someone who intends to carry on using it as a recording studio and to preserve its amazing heritage and atmosphere."
Other stars that have worked in the studio include George Harrison, Robbie Williams and Paul Weller.
