Spice Girls 'earned £10 million each'
The Spice Girls reportedly made around £10 million each from their concerts at London's O2 Arena.

Almost half a million tickets were sold for the 17-night residency, which ended on Tuesday night.

A source at the venue said ticket sales, combined with merchandising and sponsorship, had earned them an estimated £50 million, more than any previous act to perform there.

The insider told the Evening Standard: "Barbra Streisand had high ticket prices but only did three nights while Prince did 21 nights but sold tickets for next to nothing. Not many groups can sell out 17 gigs at £75 a ticket. It's quite an achievement."

Geri Halliwell recently claimed that it was unlikely that the band would make a profit from the tour.
