Róisín Murphy is to make history by performing the first ever musical number at the Elle Style Awards.
The former Moloko singer will sing at the magazine's 11th annual ceremony next month, which will be presented by last year's hosts Alexa Chung and Alex Zane.
The February 12 event recognises the year's greatest achievements in fashion, film, television and music.
Madonna, Penelope Cruz and Naomi Campbell were among the winners at the 2007 ceremony.
