The re-branded event, which used to be called Hyde Park Calling, takes place on June 28-29.
Other acts performing include Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Starsailor and KT Tunstall.
Tickets go on sale on February 1.
Festival organisers Live Nation commented: "We are very excited about this year’s Hard Rock Calling event as we have two amazing headline acts, following on the tradition from the past two years which saw Roger Waters and The Who and Peter Gabriel and Aerosmith perform.
"This year’s headliners will be complemented by a stellar lineup of special guests over the two days and two stages."
