Spears wins album award at NRJ ceremony

The troubled star's Blackout LP beat off competition from Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, James Blunt and Mika in the ceremony held by the French radio station.
Spears failed to attend the event, but stars including Kylie Minogue and the Sugababes were present.
Other winners included Justin Timberlake for International Male Artist and Avril Lavigne for International Female Artist.
Meanwhile, Rihanna won the International Song of the Year award for 'Don't Stop The Music'.
