The Scottish indie star was invited to watch the girl group during their residency at the O2 Arena earlier this month, and described the band's performance as "ace".
Writing on her personal blog, Tunstall said: "The lovely Sporty Spice [Melanie Chisholm] asked if I'd like to go to one of their shows, and of course I said, 'Too right I do.'
"Sorry to disappoint any dissenters out there, but it was ace! It looked great and was such a laugh. The mics were definitely on, people, and the ladies were in tune. Fact."
Tunstall said the only problem with the concert was the noise levels of the audience, which she claimed was almost deafening.
"I went half bloody deaf from the screaming - I had to get my left ear checked out for tinnitus. Rrrrawk and roll, eh?" added the singer.
