Thom Yorke worked as builder in summer

The singer claimed that prior to the release of the group's In Rainbows album he helped out a friend on a building site.
Yorke said that the experience made him value his music career more, but admitted that "smashing bricks" was fun.
He told Rolling Stone: "It's not that f***ing difficult [being in a band]. I went and worked on my friend's building site for two weeks over the summer, smashing bricks and stuff.
"That was difficult. But it was nice smashing stuff up."
