Arcade Fire are considering taking legal action against the Fox network for using their music without permission during Sunday's Super Bowl.

According to Pitchfork, Fox didn't ask the band whether it could use their hit 'No Cars Go' on the advert for the NFL [National Football League], which aired during the half time show.

The band's representatives are currently considering whether they should pursue the matter.

Adverts broadcast during the Super Bowl cost around $1,000,000, [£505,000] per second of air time.
