'Conquest', which was originally recorded for 2007's Icky Thump album, has been re-recorded and is being released under the name Las Rayas Blancas [The White Stripes in Spanish] on February 19 in the US.
The song's new title is 'Conquista'.
Describing the song, the band said it was a "blistering nouveau flamenco number that climaxes in a violent musical battle between Mexican trumpeter Regulo Aldama and Jack White in his fastest solo on record".
The B-side will feature an acoustic version of the track with a mariachi band, while Diane Martel has directed a Spanish-language version of their original video to coincide with the release.
