Published Sunday, Feb 10 2008, 10:39 GMT | By Nick Levine

The legendary record executive has previously asked Alicia Keys, Maroon 5 and American Idol champion Carrie Underwood to perform at the star-studded event.
Lewis performed 'Bleeding Love' and 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' for an audience that included Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and Natasha Bedingfield.
"I was immediately knocked out by her range, her versatility and the pure beauty of her voice," said Davis. "She is an artist who will be a true star for many years to come."
Lewis is currently recording two new songs for the US version of her Spirit album, to be released in the States on April 8.
This year's Grammy Awards will take place tonight at the Staples Centre in LA.
