Hard-Fi slam Libertines clones

Singer Richard Archer claimed there were too many new bands that didn't have their "own voice" and argued that it was a recipe for short-term success.
He told the Daily Record: "Bands as a genre seem to have become quite popular recently. And when that happens you get a load of bands that all want to sound like The Libertines.
"A lot of them have been signed but won't be around in six months' time because we have already had The Libertines and we don't need another one.
"It always amazes me when these bands come out and say that they are doing something new when they're not.
"You've got to be able to find your own voice - something that makes you different."
