Nickelback to break chart record?

The US band's single will set a record for the longest a song has been in the Top 40 before going to number one.
'Rockstar' has been in the UK chart for 16 weeks and is looking to beat off competition from Duffy, Goldfrapp and current number one Basshunter to secure the top spot.
The music video for 'Rockstar' features celebrity cameos from Gene Simmons, Eliza Dushku and Kid Rock.
Celine Dion's track 'Think Twice' was the previous record holder after it spent 14 weeks in the chart before reaching number one.
