The Zutons will play seven forest concerts this summer as part of the Forestry Commission's annual forest tour.

The band, who are currently in Los Angeles working on their third album, will embark on their first UK tour in two years in June.

The tour begins at Thetford Forest in Suffolk and will include stops at Delamere and Sherwood Forest before ending at Cannock Chase Forest on June 28.

Lead singer David McCabe recently admitted that the band's relocation to LA had proved beneficial.

McCabe said: "We've been buzzing off the Americans, it's taken our heads to a different place and it's brought us closer together. Sometimes you have to go a million miles away or get on a plane for ten hours to get closer together."
