Glastonbury stage given 2008 revamp

The John Peel Stage has been given a revamp for this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Named in the honour of the late Radio 1 DJ, the stage traditionally hosts new bands and lesser-known acts at the summer bash.
Last year's headliners were Hot Chip, The Twang and The Gossip.
Speaking about the facelift, organiser Martin Elbourne told NME: "We're doubling the size of the John Peel Stage. It’s going to be a much bigger, better tent, hopefully with a screen outside it."
Glastonbury takes place on June 27-29. Fans must register with the festival to purchase a ticket on April 6.
Kings of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve have already been confirmed as the Pyramid Stage headliners.
