The band performed to an audience of competition winners and record industry personnel as a warm-up for their show at Madison Square Garden.
Linkin Park played tracks from their latest album Minutes to Midnight including 'Wake' and singles 'Shadow Of The Day' and 'Bleed It Out'.
"This is the best show in an Apple store we've ever played," joked lead singer Chester Bennington.
Sources say Linkin Park's in-store performance was recorded and audio and video of the gig will be released on Apple's iTunes Music Store in March.
