Pigeon Detectives announce new album

Matt Bowman / Rex Features
Titled Emergency, the album will arrive on May 26, almost a year to the day after the release of their debut LP Wait for Me.
Speaking to Drowned in Sound, Bowman said: "Emergency could describe the last 12 months.
"It’s been fairly frantic, everything’s been going at breakneck speed between gigs and touring and festivals. I think we’ve definitely written a record rather than a number of songs to play live."
The Pigeon Detectives have sold 70,000 tickets for their upcoming UK tour.
The band are also on the bill for this summer's T in the Park festival.
